2024年全港公開獨木舟短途及分齡賽

On 18th and 19th, 2024, members of our school’s Aquatic Club participated in the "2024 Age Group Sprint Canoeing Championship" organized by the China Hong Kong Canoe Union, which was held at the Sha Tin Shing Mun Training Centre and the Sha Tin Shing Mun River of the Hong Kong Canoe Association.
In the individual events, the silver medalist in the Men's Youth (14-15 years old) T1-200m category was 1B Rong Zibin; the silver medalist in the Men's Junior (12-13 years old) T1-200m category was 1C Lau Hau Him. 2A Tsoi Ho Hin, in the Men's Junior (12-13 years old) category, performed outstandingly, securing the gold medals in the T1-1000m and T1-500m events. Similarly, 2A Yick Chun Shing, also in the Men's Junior (12-13 years old) category, emerged victorious in the K1-1000m and K1-500m competitions. 2A Shum Ming, in the Men's Junior category, achieved silver medals in multiple events, including K1-1000m, K1-500m, and K1-200m. In the Men's Youth (16-17 years old) category, 5B Ng Chun Pang secured silver medals in the K1-500m and K1-200m events, while 5D Cheuk Ho Yan obtained the bronze medal in the K1-500m event.
In the double canoe events, the team of 2A Tsoi Ho Hin and 2A Yick Chun Shing, both in the Men's Junior (12-13 years old) category, claimed the gold medals in the T2-500m and T2-200m competitions. The silver medalist in the Men's Youth (14-15 years old) T2-500m event was the duo of 1B Lau Hau Him and 2A Chen Wai Lok, while the bronze medalist was 1B Rong Zibin and 2A Law Nixon Ansin. In the T2-200m event, 1B Rong Zibin and 2A Law Nixon Ansin collaborated once again, earning the bronze medal. The bronze medalist in the Men's Open (18 years old and above) K2-500m event was the partnership of 5B Ng Chun Pang and 5D Cheuk Ho Yan. The gold medalist in the Men's Youth (16-17 years old) T2-200m event was the team of 5B Ng Chun Pang and 5D Cheuk Ho Yan. The bronze medalist in the Women's Youth (14-15 years old) T2-200m event was 1C Lee Sze Ching Vincy, alongside another student from a different school.
