Awarded 2nd runner-up & first-class certificate in Micro:bit Model Hovercraft Competition 2022-23

The hovercraft competition covers the Speed Challenge, Rescue Challenge and Cargo Lifter Challenge. It requires students to apply STEM knowledge and coding skills to design a hovercraft with effective lifting, thrust and direction control systems that can steer them through the various competition scenarios!

 

This year, over 24 schools and a total of 51 teams participated in the competition, which took place at HKSYC&IA Chan Nam Chong Memorial College on July 8, 2023.

 

In this competition, our representatives achieved remarkable results; we are delighted to announce that 5A Ngan Tsz Kin, 5B Ngai Tsz Hin, and 3D Leong Tsz Ho, won the “First Class Award” while 4B Li Tim Ming, 3C Yeung Pak Hang, 3C Chan Chun Tung, and 3C Tong Wing Chun won the “Second Runner-up” prize, adding glory to our school.
