Chinese Cultural Experience Programme - Show the "flag" to win workshop
Date: 06/11/2024
On 6 November 2024, 28 students from our school's Secondary Four and Secondary Five Visual Arts classes participated in the Chinese Cultural Experience Program - show the "flag" to win workshop at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
Through interactive learning and handicrafts, the workshop introduced the establishment and development of the Eight Banners system, allowing students to comprehend the significance of this system for the Qing dynasty's governance and national defense. While creating fabric puppets representing the Eight Banners, students also learned about the structure of the Banner armor. The students actively engaged in the workshop, demonstrating boundless creativity as they crafted unique fabric puppets of the Eight Banners.
