Mini Cheongsam Making Workshop

Many Chinese women like to wear cheongsam in some international events to show grandeur. Through the "Mini Cheongsam Making Workshop", students are given a chance to learn the origin and evolution of cheongsam, and more importantly, a chance to create a mini cheongsam from cutting to decoration. This is a brand-new attempt for our junior form students. In the workshop, students can show their personal styles and learn from each other. They follow the instructions of the tailor instructor to experience how a mini cheongsam is made.

 

Organized by the Ngau Tau Kok Neighborhood Welfare Association and funded by the Fu Charity Foundation, the event was successfully completed in February. An exhibition of works was held on 15 April to showcase students' learning achievements.
