National Day event "Chinese Shadow Puppetry"

To celebrate National Day, our school’s Moral and Civic Education Committee organised the National Day event – "Chinese Shadow Puppetry" – during which students were provided with the opportunity to witness and experience the evolution of the Chinese shadow puppetry from its traditional roots to modern performances. The show featured both traditional and contemporary stories, presented through various formats and enhanced with special effects. Students were able to gain a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of this art form, thereby fostering a positive sentiment towards tradition Chinese culture.

 

Throughout the event, students actively participated and enjoyed themselves. They also had the opportunity to engage in and experience Chinese Shadow puppetry firsthand.
