From June 29 to July 4, 2024, students from the marching band of Tsang Pik Shan (Sung Lan) Secondary School traveled a great distance to visit sister schools, Yantai Development Zone Experimental School and Hangzhou Shenglan Middle School. This exchange aimed to promote cultural and artistic interaction between the schools through music.

During the exchange, band members from both schools participated in captivating musical performances. Our school's marching band showcased three pieces with disciplined formations, high spirits, and rhythmic playing. Similarly, the sister schools presented performances featuring their local musical styles.

In addition, teachers and students from both locations gathered to learn traditional Chinese crafts, such as weaving and tie-dye. Students also visited famous local attractions, like the Grand Canal in Hangzhou and Dongpaotai Mountain in Yantai. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, they shared experiences of school life, actively learned each other’s languages, exchanged contact information, and formed deep friendships.

Through this exchange, band members not only broadened their horizons but also deepened their understanding of traditional Chinese culture. The schools established strong bonds, laying a solid foundation for ongoing cultural exchanges in the future.
